Hey world! 👋 I’m Shahaf, a PhD student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, working under the supervision of Prof. Guy Katz.

I’m trying to figure out how machine learning models actually work 🤖 and help users better understand and trust their decisions (in academic terms: my work falls under the broader field of "explainability and/or interpretability"). My main focus is on explanations with formally provable guarantees ✅ — aiming for explanations that are truly reliable and trustworthy. My research covers both the theoretical and the practical sides of this field.
